Shri. O P Bhatt, Chairman of State Bank of India and its many Group companies, is also the Chairman of the Board of SBI DFHI Ltd. A banker with over 3 decades of extensive experience, both in domestic & international banking, he has been closely associated with SBI's ambitious computerization programme. In his assignment as Bank's Representative at Washington, USA he was responsible for arranging money market lines for Bank's foreign offices, arrangement of syndicated/ project finance loans and also interacting with World Bank, IMF, US Exim, FRB etc.

He has recently been honored with the following:

Shri R Sridharan, currently the Managing Director & GE (Subsidiaries) at State Bank of India has over 3 decades of varied experience in the banking sector. He was the MD & CEO of SBI Capital Markets Ltd., the Investment Banking arm of SBI and has held various responsible positions in State Bank of India such as Executive Vice President- Tokyo Branch; Regional Head, Corporate Accounts Group, Ahmedabad; General Manager-Treasury, Mumbai; Chief General Manager – Bangalore. Earlier he was also posted to the Frankfurt Branch and has also served as Advisor to the Ministry of Finance, Government of India.

Dr S A Dave is a Doctorate of Economics and holds a Master's Degree in Economics from the University of Rochester. He has held critical positions in the Financial services market. He was the first Chairman of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI). He has also been the Chairman of Unit Trust of India and of The Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy and is on the Board of many prominent companies including HDFC.

Shri M M Lateef, an experienced banker, was a Deputy Managing Director and Group Executive (Treasury & Markets) when he retired from SBI. He has held many important assignments including Representative of SBI in Brazil and MD & CEO, SBI-DFHI Ltd.

Dr D M Nachane is a prominent economist and senior professor at the Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research. He has done his PhD in Economics from Mumbai University and was the Director, Department of Economics, University of Mumbai for several years. He has had several foreign assignments and has been a member of many Advisory Committees and Expert Working Groups of Government of India, RBI etc.

Shri Dilip M Mazumdar is a practicing Chartered Accountant with over 30 years experience in the financial sector. He is a partner of M/S Borker & Mazumdar and holds directorship of many companies.

Shri Y.S.S.Kapdi, M.D. & CEO, A banker with over three decades of extensive experience, both in domestic & international banking.He has held many important assignments including GM (Mid Corporate) of State Bank of India at Chennai and as Vice President (Operations) of Bank's New York office. He was CGM (Human Resources) of State Bank Of India at the Corporate Centre, before joining the Company. He holds a Master's degree in Law and is a Fellow of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
